Parkersburg, Federal Building Cornerstone Box, Artifacts

Overview The contents of the Cornerstone document box in the old Federal Building at Parkersburg includes two copper plates, a bottle of diluted moonshine, and fragments of a leather-bound manuscript. One of the plates, dated, 1875 May 1, gives the population and names of the city officials.
