Overview This bound notebook includes notes taken by Wheeling resident Archibald W. Paull during lectures at Washington College, Washington, Pennsylvania. Paull attended the college from 1861 to 1865 after graduating from Wheeling's Linsly Institute. He became president of Nail City Stamping Co. and engaged in the manufacture of glass products. He was the son of Ohio County judge and West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals justice James W. Paull.

Overview Correspondence, school themes and programs. The correspondence addressed to Lucy Bayard (later Keys) is from friends and relatives and covers scattered dates from 1871 to 1932.
