Content Description A 128 page photographic history of World War I, including "photographs by the official photographers accompanying each army" that were "collected and arranged by Francis J. The front face of the medal depicts the bust of a man in Revolutionary War-era military dress. The man depicted may be the Marquis De La Fayette, based on his tricorn hat with a cockade and the association of La Fayette and the United States involvement in WWI.
