Thirteen military scrapbooks compiled by Nellie V. Gall, chief clerk of the Monongalia County, West Virginia, draft board, from 1949 to 1956. Scrapbooks contain newspaper clippings relating primarily to the military service of men and women from Monongalia County and the rest of West Virginia. Special topics include West Virginia University ROTC, the National Guard, civil defense, those who died in service, women in the military, selective service, and the organized reserve corps.
