Overview Thomas Creigh, a Greenbrier County pioneer and land speculator, was a long-time Lewisburg merchant. Born 1766 in Ireland, he emigrated to Greenbrier Co. in the 1790s and became a relative through marriage of Col. John Stuart, a local prominent citizen.
