The bound volumes include private account and minute books of the Coal River and Kanawha Mining and Manufacturing Company (1852-1858) the Winifrede Mining and Manufacturing Company, (1850-1858), the steamboat CROCKETT (1836); a sawmill (1879); and general merchandise and salt accounts, 1822-1823, 1864-1865.
