Overview Muster roll of a company of Monongalia County Militia dated February 20, 1818, and printed in original spelling of the names of ninety-eight soldiers in the company. Their commander was Capt. John Launce who had orders from the President of the United States for active service. This volume was presented to the University by Siegel O.
