Research papers created and assembled by history professor Barbara Howe for a centennial history of the College of Arts and Sciences at West Virginia University, from its inception in 1867 through 1997. Includes five series: research files, interviews, faculty files, subjects, and sound recordings. Almost all material consists of photocopies.

Papers of Barbara Howe, Professor of History and Director of the Women's Studies Center, documenting her extensive professional activities within West Virginia University and the WVU community involving history and women's concerns. A collection assembled on behalf of the WVU College of Arts and Sciences by Dr. Barbara Howe, WVU Department of History, for the Centennial History Project. Most of the records relate to the Humanities program at West Virginia University. Includes mostly copies of materials from former students, as well as transcriptions of interviews with former faculty or their spouses.

Scope and Contents Materials from the Eberly College of Arts & Sciences Time Capsule, representing what it means to be a Mountaineer in 2018. The time capsule was created in conjunction with the 2018 campus read book, Station Eleven, and was interred on the college's 25th anniversary.
