Harrison County Land Records
A land grant signed by Patrick Henry, dated March 21, 1786, to Thomas Proctor of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for 3,000 acres of land along the Hughes River; a manuscript plat of land; and a volume of field notes taken in laying out the town of Montgomery, compiled by Abraham Nelson, Junior, for Col. Thomas Proctor, 1788-1789.
