This collection includes correspondence, pictures, pamphlets, periodicals, and minutes of meetings. There is material pertaining to all member unions in the county and to the Committee on Political Education (COPE). Microfilm contains the minutes of the Federation's executive board meetings from 1962 to 1968 and the minutes of COPE meetings from 1958 to 1969.

There are also notes on the labor movement in Marion County, compiled by Huett Nestor, concerning the membership and officers of local unions, and a list of "Prominent Members of the A.F.L.-C.I.O. from Marion County."

Included are inter-union correspondence on strikes, political lobbying efforts, policy statements, and candidate questionnaires which were sent out by COPE.

Snyder, 1906-1911; records of the Parkersburg Central Trades and Labor Council, 1924-1942; and a typescript copy of the minutes of the Wheeling Typographical Union.
