Scope and Contents
Thirteen black and white photographs collected by Hal Scrugham, a Lexington, Kentucky native and an engineer with U.S. Steel who lived briefly in Gary, WV. Most show images of Gary, West Virginia (in McDowell County) or exterior views related to the United States Coal and Coke Company, which was a subsidiary of US Steel that operated out of Gary. Photos 1-7 have printed area of 4 5/8" h x 6 5/8" w.
