Harrison County Court Records, Survey for Land in Monongalia County
Copy of a survey dated 1785 for 400 acres of land in Monongalia County claimed by Robison Lucas. The copy dates from between 1812 and 1818 and mentions a conflicting survey made by Morgan Morgan in 1785. The copy is attested by Samuel Hanway, official surveyor of Monongalia County.
Robert Eyre and Others, Bond with Thomas Robinson Endorsed by Morgan Morgan and Others
Bond between Robert Eyre and others (Morris Rees and John Dillon) and Thomas Robinson of New Castle County, Delaware, for loan of 1000 pounds currency. There are four signed endorsements, including one from Phil Pendleton; and one from Morgan Morgan of Berkeley County, Virginia, brother of Zackquill Morgan, founder of Morgantown, Virginia (West Virginia).
