Overview Plat for land located in Monongalia County dated 7 July 1794. The plat shows four pieces of land consisting of 7000 acres located on the waters of the Cheat River below the Dunker Bottom[s] settlements. The plat also indicates the owners of each piece and dates when the land was surveyed. Also contains a description of the land written by Clement Biddle. The document was mailed to Colonel William Deakins, on evidence of sealing wax and the address of Georgetown Potowmack [sic], Maryland...
