One grant to Sampson Lockhart Matthews, assignee of Sampson Matthews, for 444 acres in Pocahontas County, Va., signed by John Tyler in 1826. Grant to James Kelso, assignee of Thomas Anderson, for 480 acres in Augusta County, Va., signed by Robert Brooke in 1795. One deed from James A. McCue, executor of Andrew G. Gatewood, to Jacob W. And Andrew G. Matthews for 486 acres in Pocahontas County, dated 1836. And the House of Warick. 1740.
