Letter from D.D.V. Stuart to Arthur Dayton dated 11 September 1898. Stuart was a naval navigator in the late nineteenth century. Stuart writes about moving to New York and keeping his wheels at the Washington Navy Yard. He also notes that he enclosed a cap ribbon from the USS Lancaster with the letter for Dayton's mother.
