Photostat negatives of a map showing towns and roads in Barbour and Randolph counties along the Tygart River; Belington, Beverly and New Interest are shown, with marginal notes on Beverly during the Civil War; another map locates sites of Civil War battles, Military installations, and houses in Pendleton, Tucker and Randolph counties, with notes on the military value of the area, and facts concerning the death of Patrick Duff; Negative copies of the Jefferson County circuit court order book pages 278-287,300, for October- November 1859, relating to the trial of John Brown; presidential pardon granted to J. M. Bennett by Andrew Johnson, 11 July 1865.
