Overview

Business records of J. W. Vandiver, a dealer in agricultural implements and acetylene light plants, in Burlington, W. Va. A ledger, 1908-1920, containing records of farm implements, carbide, flour, and farm produce sales; livestock breeding, purchase and sales; orchard, bark and spraying accounts; farm labor; pasturage and land rental charges; and construction materials and labor costs. Also several letters and account statements, 1877; 1907-1917, concerning a summer course of law lectures at U. Of Virginia, 1877; meter readings; and a letter from R. P. Hobron regarding a speech on National Constitutional Prohibition and suggestions for cooperation of local organizations to assure the passage of the Resolution in Congress.
