Thirty-three scrapbooks from the West Virginia University Comptroller's Office containing clippings from newspapers throughout the United States that were sent to the university from 1927 to 1939 by a newspaper clipping bureau. Clippings all deal with articles concerning various campus activities and administrations of major colleges and universities in the United States, including West Virginia University. Scrapbooks are organized alphabetically according to the name of the university, and a subject index is available.
