Overview

An exchange of letters between Enoch M. Kirk, Co. B, 3rd Regiment, Virginia Volunteers, Milroy's Brigade, stationed across the river from Point Pleasant, and his wife Martha, who lived near Clarksburg. The letters, dated October 13 and 23, 1862, are primarily concerned with family affairs although both have interesting Civil War Letter heads.
