Approximately one hundred miscellaneous postcards sent to Mr. R. Leonard Thompson of West Virginia and Kentucky between 1907 and 1945. Many cards have brief handwritten notes, but some are blank. Cards were sent from several different states, including West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Post cards contain various types of images on the front, including landscapes, cityscapes, bridges, streets, natural features, buildings, holiday scenes, and generic drawings of people, flowers, and birds.
