Overview

The map is a section of a Geological Survey map showing a portion of the holdings of the Flynn Lumber Co. in Nicholas County. The map also shows the route of the Nicholas, Fayette and Greenbrier Railroad. The pictures are of coal cars loaded with Sewell coal mined from the holdings of the Flynn Lumber Co. One cola care is the property of the Kanawha and Michigan Railroad Co. originals of the three pictures are filed in the WVC. Pix file coal mines and mining folder.
