Overview

Letters, clippings, and photographs separated from a collection of pictures received from the Morgantown post in July of 1970. The letters were written by readers of the newspaper in response to a picture identification contest sponsored by the paper. The newspaper published a picture showing the capture of two men who attempted to rob the Bruceton Mills Bank in July of 1922. The letters in this collection were written by residents of Bruceton Mills and nearby towns who described the incident in their own words.
