Press conference which discussed West Virignia native General Earl E. Anderson who became Assistant Commadont of the United States Marine Core. He declaired March 31st General Earl E. Anderson Day. Discussed the Japanese-American Governor's conference and the Governors that he designated to participate in the conference. An update on Buffalo Creek disaster concerning housing, funding, missing individuals, business loans being approved, and building temporary road structures. Two new industiries moving into West Virginia: The Sunshine Pillow Company and B&L Apparal Incorparated of Cass. Growth in employment rate. The Tri-State Airport imporvements approved by Appapachian Regional Commission (ARC). Discussion of higher education, kindergarden funding, the special session, Buffalo Creek investigation, the Devils Deciples, and damn drainage on high risk damns.
