Includes newsletters, brochures, handwritten notes, and personal files of WVU Sports Information Director Edgar “Eddie” Barrett and WVU Athletic Director Robert “Red” Brown on the West Virginia Centennial Celebration, 1962-1963. Also includes commemorative patches of the state centennial celebration (Box 20, Folder 2) and correspondence with various people and businesses in Charleston and elsewhere about the celebration (Box 20). Papers also include a photograph and programs of the Swedish National Gymnastics Team performance at West Virginia University in 1955 (Box 20, Folder 4). Other papers include publications, photographs, biographical information, and other materials relating to former WVU and NBA basketball star Jerry West.
