Box — Box: 140
Scope and Contents
This box contains 19 vinyl records in sleeves and one book, the Joan Baez Songbook. Some of the music in the book and on these albums is about or connected to labor organizations, miners, and Appalachia in general. One notable album contains the recording of MLK Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech. Many of the musical albums have "Monongah 1907" handwritten on their covers, which most likely means they were used in the making of the film.
