Series 1. Football Career, 1950-2012

Includes materials related to the football career of Sam Huff. Photographs subseries documents Huff's years playing football both at West Virginia University and for the National Football League, and some photographs document events related to his football career after he retired from the NFL. Media Coverage subseries includes newspaper clippings, magazine articles, artwork, books, and documentaries that feature Huff. This subseries includes both digital and audiovisual material. Awards and Certificates subseries includes plaques and paper certificates, all honors given to Huff for his accomplishments as a football player. Memorabilia subseries includes a variety of sports memorabilia collected by Huff, like game programs, books and documentaries about the NFL and/or players other than Huff, programs from football events and awards ceremonies, Huff’s WVU Letterman’s Jacket and Letterman’s Sweater, and a sweatshirt commemorating Huff’s inclusion in John Madden’s All-Madden All-Millenium roster.
