Series 3. Subjects, 1958-1973 and undated

This series contains materials collected by Thomas W. Gavett while chairman of the Human Rights Commission between 1961 and 1966. It consists mostly of published materials, such as brochures and booklets, used by Gavett and/or the WV HRC for reference. It includes materials from other Human Rights Commissions, particularly Kentucky. The materials are organized by the publishing/creating body.
