Covered Bridges Survey, 1970-1993 (includes facsimiles)

Kemp conducted a survey of covered bridge conditions across West Virginia in partnership with the Division of Highways and West Virginia University. The box includes research materials for the following covered bridges: Barrackville, Carrollton, Fish Creek, Fletcher, Herns Mill, Hokes Mill, Indian Creek, Laurel Creek, Locust Creek, Sarvis Fork, Simpson and Walkersville. Includes engineering drawings, reports, plans, budget lists, minutes and notes. Subjects include covered bridge restoration and inspection of covered bridges. The following oversize item was moved to Map Cabinet 12, Drawer 5, Folder 5: one pamphlet (undated).
