Materials prepared for inventory of covered bridges in West Virginia in partnership with Robert Seese, Kemp's student. Includes correspondence, photographs, clippings, pamphlets, handwritten notes, newsletters, postcards, reports and engineering drawings. Subjects include covered bridges across the United States, covered bridges in the West Virginia counties of Wetzel and Pocahontas, and the inventory of covered bridges. The following oversize items were moved to Map Cabinet 12, Drawer 5, Folder 1: fifteen newspaper sheets (1970-1982), one magazine clipping (undated), four engineering drawings (undated), two pamphlets (1972 and undated), seven maps (1970 and undated), and three placemats (undated).
