Kemp kept research notes regarding bridges. The box includes handwritten notes, bibliographies, indices, brochures, book advertisements, handwritten notes and cards with sources listed. Subjects include engineering history, suspension bridges, companies building bridges, bridges in North America and Europe, and Victorian British History. The following oversize items were moved to Box 343: four sheets of bibliographies (undated) and one brochure (2001).
