Postcards, letters, and miscellaneous family papers comprise this collection which focuses upon a Tyler County family. The numerous artistic and humorous postcards were mostly sent to Alice Wells as a young woman. Other papers include information about farming and education at the turn-of-the-century. Assorted postmarks from West Virginia post offices (many defunct) and postage stamps highlight the collection.
