Miscellaneous papers regarding Clarksburg, West Virginia. Includes: newspaper advertisements (4 items, photocopied) of automobiles for sale at Williams Hardware and The Clarksburg Automobile Co., both in Clarksburg, WV (1912); front page of newspaper for 1967 flood, including photo of flood reaching the Clarksburg Automobile Co. garage (3/7/1967, original and photocopies); official ballot for the 5 November 1940 presidential election including Wirt County, WV choices; statement of Bridgeport Bank (1909); photograph of West Virginia contingent of the American Legion Parade in Paris in 1927, and travel itinerary of Legion member for Legion Convention in Paris that year. Other photographs include: Main Street of Clarksburg (n.d.), portrait of Robert E. Lee (n.d.), Harrison County physicians and their cars (ca. 1920-30), automobile showroom of presumably the Clarksburg Automobile Co. (2 pictures, ca. 1920-30); front of Clarksburg Auto Co. with cars (ca. 1915-25), cars at train depot (ca, 1915-25). The last two photos listed are mounted albumen prints.
