Hannah Jane Alexander, a daughter of Andrew Alexander, married Samuel Andrew Cockayne. The Cockayne family moved from West Alexander, Pennsylvania to Glendale, West Virginia, and then to Moundsville, West Virginia. They eventually settled in Glendale, West Virginia. Includes birth, death, marriage, and lineage information from 1801-1953. Also includes a clipping of a 1965 article published in the Moundsville Daily Echo regarding Cockayne property in Marshall County, West Virginia.
