Transcript of a 1972 interview of Andrew Chafin (1886-1977), great nephew of Devil Anse Hatfield of the Hatfield & McCoy feud, regarding the feud. At age eight years, Chafin was acted as a liaison between his family, the Hatfields, and "civilization". This oral history gives a personal account of the feud from a child's perspective.
