Overview

Records and photographs regarding John Wade Kidwell (1910-1978), of Davis, West Virginia. Includes original and facsimile government forms (1933-1943) and photographs (ca. 1933-1934) pertaining to Kidwell's work with the Civilian Conservation Corps from November 7, 1933 to September 30, 1934. He worked on Levi Jackson Wilderness Road State Park #4 with Company 566 in London, Kentucky. Photos depict Kidwell and his work gang, their camp, and a log cabin believed to be a former home of President Abraham Lincoln.
