Papers of John Wade Kidwell (1910-1978), of Davis, West Virginia, pertaining to his studies at the Game Conservation Institute (GCI) in Clinton, New Jersey, which he attended from September 1929 to September 1930. Includes a typescript written by Wade's son Chris Kidwell (undated), describing Wade Kidwell's life, the GCI, and its link with Ducks Unlimited; photos of wildlife, scenery, Wade Kidwell and other students at GCI (ca. 1929-1930); Wade Kidwell's GCI autograph book with classmates' signatures and addresses (ca. 1930); and his diploma (1930). Also includes photos of the Delaware Water Gap on the NJ and PA state line, and of Buck's Creek Falls and Lake Tahoma, McDowell County, North Carolina (ca. 1929-1932).
