Geral Jenny gave from his office some correspondence of Dr. A.D. Hopkins, Professor of Entomology, West Virginia University. In addition to the long list of letters there is a diary and a record book which had been kept by Dr.Hopkins. Hopkins (1857-1948) was vice-director of the West Virginia Agricultural Experiment Station, professor of entomology at West Virginia University, 1890-1902, forest entomologist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, 1902-1923, and a researcher in bioclimatics with the USDA at Kanawha Farms, Wood County, 1923-1933.
