Included are family letters and pictures; also, diagram plans, and maps 1874-1941.
Additional White papers include correspondence, 1922-1928, both personal and business, concerning trips made by White as consulting geologist for the B&O, requests for estimates, and lawsuits on services rendered. There is a copy of a letter to Hon. John W. Davis in connection with a recent oil strike in Pecos (Trans-continental Oil Co., Tulsa). Other papers include White family genealogy, a right-of-way agreement - Monongahela West Penn Public Service Co., information on Bakerstown coal seam, Lincoln Coal Co., Lick Run Collieries Co., Telluric Company, Rock Camp Oil Company, Catskill Oil Company, and the Sewickly coal seam. Local interests include Morgantown Country Club, brick works, Mont Chateau, Tuberculosis sanitarium, rent on property, White's service as a trustee of Kiwanis International Council, and Morgantown's sesquicentennial.
