Leather-bound photograph album containing black and white photographs of people and scenes in West Virginia, Virginia, and Washington D.C (and perhaps other unidentified locations). The town of Mullins (now spelled Mullens), West Virginia is featured in at least two of the photographs, perhaps more; otherwise, most of the photographs are unidentified. Names and captions are only occasionally given. Subjects of photographs include individuals, groups, buildings, towns, and the coal industry. Photographs also depict leisure activites, including a baseball game, a visit to Rock Creek Park in Washington, D.C., boating, rock climbing, and other activites. The album is stamped with "Nonpareil" on the inside back cover; based on this, the album may have been manufactured by W.C. Horn, Brother, and Company of New York City.
