This collection includes digital and typed transcriptions of diaries and letters authored by John J. Jacob, the fourth governor of West Virginia, from 1802-1829. In addition to the typed pages, there are also hand-written sheets, some of which may be the original diary pages while others seem to be additional transcriptions.
