Phillips concern the early operation of the church. Primary topics include finding a pastor for the church and finding financial support for the pastor. Also includes certificates of church membership; letters written by James Davis concerning the church; and a typescript entitled "Fifty Years in the Wilderness" by Loyal Young, 1869.
