Overview

The published articles of Ira Brooks Boggs during the thirty-three years, 1922-1955, he held various positions with the WVU Agricultural Extension Service. The column "Chummy Chats", West Virginia Farm News 1930-1956. Also, typescripts of "Chummy Chats", 1927-1949; 4-H Suggestions, column "Little 4-H Journeys", 1929-1956; State Boys 4-H Camp, the camp welcoming bulletin, 1935-1955; and clippings from several state newspapers concerning Mr. Boggs death, 28 October 1955. The microfilming was done by WVU Library for the WVU 4-H Club. These articles were included in the Boggs memorial book, "Wa-Ken-da Phe-dhu", edited and published by the club.
