Overview

Questionnaires, interviews, surveys and summaries from a study of Charleston youth conducted by the Charleston Youth Community in 1963. collection includes a summary of the results of each inquiry and a few typed transcripts of tape recorded interviews with selected Charleston youth. Subjects of the study were divided into "Drop-outs (DO)," "Juvenile Delinquents (JD)," and " Selected non-troubled (NT)," and in each category the survey papers are divided accordingly. Those questioned include parents, neighbors, and friends of troubled youth and selected members of the community.
