The correspondence covers the period from the appointment of Strausbaugh in 1923, as Chairman of the Department of Botany at WVU (later the Department of Biology) to 1948.
The correspondence from 1920-1923 is Dr. Strausbaugh's personal correspondence while on the staff of the College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio. Included are seven pages of typescript carbons containing comments on Elements of Biology by Strausbaugh and Weimer.
