Overview

Letter from H. Sutton Sharp, editor of the Parkersburg SENTINEL, to his daughter and son-in-law. In the letter, dated Nov. 9, 1970, Sharp reminisces about West Virginia politics in the period from 1920-1940. He recalls the power and activities of the Flemings, the Watsons, and the Blizzards, and his own association with the WPA.
