Two publications by Alpheus B. Stickney regarding the genealogy and history of the Pierpont family, as well as a letter from Stickney to Bessie Anderson regarding his genealogical research (1957). Please note that various spellings of “Pierpont” are used in this material. One publication regards the branch of the Pierpont family which lived in West Virginia (1953). The other publication is a reprint of an article from “The American Genealogist” (1957), regarding the 17th century Pierponts who emigrated from England to the then-colony of Maryland.
