Destinations in West Virginia include Charleston, Guyandotte, Huntington, Milton, and St. Albans, among others; other destinations include Baltimore, Cincinnati, and Richmond, among others. Goods include apple butter, bacon, coffee, eggs, flour, potatoes, and wheat; other goods include carpet, leather, seeds, and varnish, among others. There is a piece of ephemera tipped into the October 1880 pages, an advertising card for "The Phoenix" in Huntington, a shop that sells whiskey, beer, tobacco, and cigars.
