In 1946, he started the Mantini Trio. Three years later, he added three additional musicians and together with his brother, John, they became the Connie Mantini Orchestra. He played with the orchestra for 45 years, as well as the trio for 10 years. They played for weddings, graduations, private parties, and single engagements.
