The William A. Neal Museum of the Health Sciences was opened on the Health Sciences Campus, October 28, 2022. The museum was named after William A. Neal, a WVU professor and retired pediatric cardiologist, who helped begin the project in 2017. After Neal passed in 2020, the museum was dedicated in his honor, carrying on the mission to educate about the history of West Virginian healthcare.
