Series 1. Stereographic Cards, circa 1930-1952

Scope and Contents

This series contains 145 stereo cards of subjects in Germany (ca. 1930-1945) and Helsinki Olympics (1952). The subjects in Germany are: historic buildings (before and after the war); Berlin - Potsdam; South Bavaria; Deutsche Heimat; and Rothenburg. The box with stereoscope in which these cards were originally found is in box 2.

Series 2. World War II Photographs, circa 1945

Scope and Contents

This series includes black and white photographs of various scenes from World War II, such as concentration camp dead (Dachau), war destruction and city ruins, soldiers, civilians, etc. Some photos were likely taken by Young; others were taken by members of the Associated Press or U.S. Signal Corps. Some photos have labels or captions.

Scope and Contents

This series contains five black and white images of Raymond Young taking photographs and video in Vietnam. Three photos show him taking pictures in medical units.
